Two deadlines, not one

The airlines announced more than 380,000 promotional tickets: SIA return tickets and Scoot one-way tickets. The online promotion runs from 23 to 30 October 2026 through the airlines’ websites and apps and appointed agents. The physical event is at Suntec Halls 401–403 from 23 to 25 October.

The Suntec page lists daily hours of 10am–9pm. That venue schedule should not be used as the online sale deadline. Scoot explicitly gives its online closing time as 11:59pm on 30 October, Singapore time.

When can you travel?

• SIA: selected departures from Singapore for travel from 1 January to 30 September 2027; qualifying flights and travel periods apply.
• Scoot: the announcement gives an overall 9 November 2026–15 October 2027 travel span, but its destination table contains narrower periods and blackout dates. Check your route rather than assuming the entire span is available.

The S$80 headline is one-way

Scoot’s sale page advertises fares from S$80, taxes included. Examples listed on 25 October include Langkawi and Melaka from S$80, Kuala Lumpur from S$82, and Bali from S$110. These are advertised starting fares from Singapore, not seats we have checked in a booking basket.

Its Economy Basic terms exclude checked baggage, meals and seat selection unless stated otherwise; applicable payment-processing fees are also separate. Compare both directions and the extras you want before treating a one-way headline as the holiday total. Availability can differ by date.

Some promo codes are already exhausted

When checked on 25 October, the SIA sale page marked the Citi Prestige, DBS/POSB and Maybank code offers as fully redeemed. Do not budget for them merely because an earlier post still displays a code. Other offers on the page have different eligibility and starting dates.

Use the total shown after applying any eligible offer. If a code fails, compare the available fare on its own merits; adding another traveller or a more expensive cabin just to chase a discount changes the purchase.

A quick comparison worth making

Open the same dates for each option and keep the departure airport, return journey and baggage requirement constant. Note the final total, flight times and change conditions. A lower starting fare and a lower total are two different claims.
